Section 62 of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:- Notwithstanding the previous paragraph, a licensee licensed under sections 58 and 59 shall be in compliance with this section if the information required by the previous paragraph is recorded and maintained in the licensee’s electronic data management system in a form and format approved by the registrar; provided, however, that the registrar shall not require the licensee to engage in duplicate recording and maintenance of the information for each vehicle.
