An Act relative to financial literacy in schools
SECTION 1. Chapter 69 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 1P the following section:- Section 1Q. (a) The department shall establish standards for students in kindergarten to grade 12, inclusive, on personal financial literacy to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to become self-supporting and to enable students to make critical decisions regarding personal finances.
