Western Massachusetts High-Speed Rail Feasibility Study
Mr. Lesser, Ms. Gobi, Messrs. Hinds, Welch, Humason, Boncore and Fattman moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, by inserting after section X the following section:- "SECTION XX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall conduct a feasibility study relative to high-speed rail access between the cities of Boston and Pittsfield via Springfield.
