Mr. Rodrigues moves to amend the bill in section 1, by striking out, in lines 5 and 6, the words “Massachusetts branches of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People New England Area Conference” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “New England Area Conference of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People”; and in section 6, by striking out, in lines 174 to 177, inclusive, the words “1 of whom shall be nominated by the Boston branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People New England Area Conference, 1 of whom shall be nominated by a Massachusetts branch, other than the Boston branch, of the National Associat…
