Warrant data collection
Ms. DiZoglio, Messrs. Eldridge, Hinds and Montigny move to amend the bill in section 58, in proposed section 2D of chapter 276 of the General Laws, by adding the following subsection:- “(e) The executive office of public safety and security shall promulgate regulations regarding data collection on the execution of any warrant issued pursuant to this section including, but not limited to: (i) the total number of warrants issued; and (ii) for each issued warrant: (A) any alleged offense serving as the basis of the warrant; (B) the date and time of execution of the warrant and the municipality in which the warrant was executed; (C) whether execution of the warrant resulted in the discovery or …
