Messrs. Lesser, Welch, Feeney, Crighton, Moore and Eldridge, Ms. Rausch, Messrs. Boncore, Tarr, Collins, Montigny, Humason, deMacedo, Fattman, O'Connor and Tran, Ms. Lovely, Ms. Gobi, Mr. Cyr and Ms. Creem moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 8000-0313, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $500,000 shall be expended for a nonprofit security grant program to provide support for target hardening and other physical security enhancements to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist attacks or hate crimes as defined in section 32 of chapter 22C of the General Laws and are ineligible for the United States Department o…
