An Act providing for the permanent protection and stewardship of the historic Lampson Brook Farm in Belchertown
SECTION 1. As used in this act, the following words shall have the following meanings unless the context requires otherwise: “Board”, the Lampson Brook Farm board of directors established in section 2. “Commercial agriculture parcel”, approximately 120 acres of commercial managed farmland and associated conservation land as further identified on the survey plan, which shall be under the care and control of the department of agricultural resources. “Community farm parcel”, approximately 44 acres, including the historic Belchertown state school structures and viewscape and associated farm fields and garden plots, as further defined in the survey plan. “Division”, the division of c…
