An Act allowing humane transportation of K9 partners aka Nero's law
SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 111C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the definition of “person” the following definition:- “Police dog”, a dog owned by a police department or police agency of the commonwealth, or any political subdivision thereof, that is used by the department or agency for official duties. SECTION 2. Said chapter 111C is hereby further amended by inserting after section 9 the following section:- Section 9A.
