Relative to temporary motor vehicle fuel excise tax relief
Messrs. Fattman, Tarr, O'Connor and Moore move that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section 62 the following sections:- "SECTION 63. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the commissioner of the department of revenue shall forgo collection of the tax per gallon as defined by section 1 of chapter 64A of the General Laws of motor vehicle fuel excise."
