Security personnel grant pilot program
Mr. Lesser, Ms. Creem, Mr. Feeney, Ms. Rausch, Messrs. Timilty, O'Connor, Moore, Velis and Eldridge and Ms. Lovely moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 8000-0313, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended by the executive office of public safety and security for a security personnel program to be piloted at nonprofits that have demonstrated to be at high risk for terrorist attacks or hate crimes; provided further, that the participating nonprofits shall contribute matching funds to such pilot program equal to $1 for every $1 contributed by the commonwealth”; and by striking out the figure “$100,000” and …
