An Act to expand access to high-quality, affordable early education and care
SECTION 1. The sixth paragraph of section 22N of chapter 7 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, child care and school age programs contracting with the department of early education and care or their agents shall be exempt from the price limitations set forth by the bureau. SECTION 2. Chapter 10 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:- Section 79. (a) There shall be established and set up on the books of the commonwealth a separate fund to be known as the Early Education and Child Care Workforce Development Trust Fund.…
