Dissolution

Ms. Jehlen, Messrs. Eldridge and Fattman move to amend the bill in section 10, by inserting the following new paragraph:- "(c) A community benefit district may be dissolved by a majority vote of the municipal governing body. The municipal governing body shall be required to dissolve a community benefit district upon receipt of petition signed by 51% of the residents of a district. The municipal governing body shall be required to dissolve a community benefit district upon receipt of petition signed by 51% of property owners of a district.".
