Messrs. O'Connor, Hinds and Tarr and Ms. Lovely move that the proposed new text be amended in section 2A, in item 1599-1232, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $2,000,000 shall be transferred to the Massachusetts cultural council established under section 52 of the chapter 10 of the General Laws for grants to support 501(c)(3) organizations negatively impacted by the 2019 novel coronavirus; provided further, that eligible grant applicants shall have not more than 25 employees; and provided further, that grants may be used for general operations, employee payroll and benefit costs, mortgage interest, rent, utilities and interest on other debt obligations”;…
