Manufacturer liability

Messrs. Gomez, Pacheco, Moore, Timilty, Brady, Mark, Collins, Tarr and Fattman move that the proposed new text be amended in section 16, in proposed paragraph (3) of subsection (d) of section 128D of chapter 140 of the General Laws, by adding the following sentence:- “It shall not be a violation of this section for a firearm industry member to design, advertise, market, import or sell at wholesale or retail a firearm industry product in a manner that recommends or encourages persons under the age of 18 to participate lawfully in hunting or shooting sports.”
