Messrs. Tarr, O'Connor and Fattman moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section __ the following sections:- "SECTION _. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, for the days of August 6, 2024 to August 19, 2024, an excise shall not be imposed upon nonbusiness sales at retail of tangible personal property, as defined in section 1 of chapter 64H of the General Laws.
