Messrs. Pacheco, O'Connor and Brady move that the proposed new text be amended by adding after section 16 the following section:- "SECTION 16A. Said chapter 33 is hereby further amended by striking out section 59, as so appearing, and inserting in place thereof the following section:- Section 59. (a) An employee of the commonwealth or another state in the service of the armed forces of the commonwealth or a reserve component of the armed forces of the United States based in the commonwealth shall be entitled to receive pay without loss of ordinary remuneration as a public employee during service in the uniformed services, annual training under section 60 or drills and parades under secti…
