Timeline for review of conference committee reports

Mr. Tarr, Ms. Dooner and Mr. Fattman move to amend the report by striking, in rule 12A, the following "provided, however, the House of Representatives and the Senate may convene for formal business solely for the purposes of considering conference committee reports filed under the provisions of Joint Rules 11 and 11A at any time in the 2-year legislative session." and inserting in place thereof the following:-- "No reports of a committee of conference shall be considered by the general court if filed within 72 hours of the end of formal session. This rule shall not be revoked, repealed, or suspended absent unanimous consent of all members voting."
