Healthy Social Media Use
Messrs. Rush, Cyr, Keenan, Velis and O'Connor, Ms. Lovely and Ms. Creem moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7010-0005, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $2,000,000 shall be expended as grants to school districts to support the education of students on safe, responsible and healthy social media use, which may include, but shall not be limited to: (i) curriculum frameworks and other instructional materials that promote evidence-based practices; and (ii) educator training and professional development”; and by striking out the figure “$13,664,723” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$15,664,723”.
